When I saw this movie I no longer felt ashamed that my Grandson Maynard is going to join the Navy in the Fall. I felt that he must feel the same as Sergeant York about serving his country in a time of need.

I was never happy about President Bush's decision to invade Iraq. However, my step-daughter Emily has forced me to look at the situation from a woman's point of view in Iraq and I understand her opinion.
